Attorney Michael Kade is licensed to practice before all Federal and State Courts in the State of California, Texas Federal District Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
He is an adjunct professor of law at the University of West Los Angeles teaching Criminal Law & Practice and Introduction to Legal Studies.
During his experience as a criminal defense attorney, he has handled a number of high-profile cases and successfully defended numerous people wrongly accused of serious crimes. Crimes as minor as Shoplifiting, and as major as Homicide. Prior to entering law school, he was an officer of the Los Angeles Police Department. As a former LAPD (R) officer, he has a different and detailed outlook into criminal laws and ethical standards of the everyday cases.
His passion for the law does not end with criminal defense. He is a highly experienced and highly passionate civil litigator as well. His expertise in Mediation as a graduate of the Pepperdine Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution brings forth the ability to advocate for his clients in all agrees of law, up to and including trial.
As a lawyer, he has excellent skills as a presenter, persuader, and communicator. He has expert knowledge of criminal law and he combines this with a quick wit and personal stories to make his lectures interesting, humorous, and real; whether in trial or in the classroom.
